Amanda’s approach to education reflects her strong belief that everyone brings something to the table. It is in this spirit that she designs and leads workshops on architecture and sustainability, and encourages participants to access their own inherent creativity and intuition. Believing that experiential learning and trans-disciplinary collaborations create deeper, more sustainable ideas and projects, she strives to create a nurturing learning environment where innovative ideas are supported and imagination is encouraged. Her teaching experience began in 2001 when she served for two years in the Peace Corps teaching Industrial Arts to secondary school students in the South Pacific island Kingdom of Tonga.
